Sirius smiled at her, feeling her hesitation and her use of the Force to gain insight on his actions. Using his strength to hold his saber against hers, he decided to see how well in the knowledge of the Force she truly was in. "I sense you are strong in the Force, but do you truly know how much more you can become with the Dark Side?" He asked through the buzzing.

Firestar was barely able to hold the glowing blade away from her as the man pressed it down on her. She took a step back. "The Dark Side makes us no more or less than what we already are," she said, her heart pounding with fear. She tried to eliminate it from her mind, remembering her master's lesson on fear leading to the Dark Side. "It just changes us...for the worst," she stated. In her mind, she saw her brother running through the streets of Coruscant to get to her. I hope he gets here in time, she thought.

"You're wrong. The Dark Side opens us to our destiny. The Jedi know this, that is why they set up so many rules and regulations; they only desire to maintain their power and control over everything and everyone." Sirius allowed Firestar to step back as he watched her closely, feeling her fear with the Force. A smile formed on his lips. "Do you know, the Jedi are more laxed then they were before the New Republic? Centuries ago, the Jedi had so many rules." His eyes stalked her with the hunger of a tiger. "Why do you think they fell? People began to see through their deception and lies. The Dark Side came and freed the minds of the people from the bondage they faced with the Jedi." He eyed her more, waiting to pounce as he twirled his red lightsaber. "Why do you think that the Jedi have different rules now? They're trying to manipulate the Republic, trying to pretend they honor the idea of democracy and freedom. They are lying to everyone! Only through one strong and wise leader can the Galaxy live in peace. Democracy causes factions and chaos. History proves this!" He told her. "The Dark Side changes us to what we are meant to be; to our destiny. It is not meant to be feared, but embraced. Our passions fuels us to do what we need to do. Give into your fear, only then can you discover what you are capable of." Sirius told her, hoping to convert her.

"You're the one who's wrong," Firestar said as she fended off his attacks. "I know the history of the Jedi! They fell because Palpatine slew them all! He gave the order, then took over the galaxy for himself. He caused pain and suffering in the galaxy during his rule, and that is what will happen if the Dark Side takes over again!" From somewhere very close by, there was the sound of another lightsaber igniting. "Well, I don't quite agree with you there, sis, but let's agree to differ on the subject," Nightshiner said as he stepped between the two combatants. "And you," he added to Sirius, "you injure my sister in any way and I will personally take your head off."

Sirius' blade hissed as it collided with Firestar's blade again. He scoffed. "Darth Sidious gave the Empire order; it was the people who disoriented it. He brought the galaxy into one; for peace! And I will once again bring the Peace that was sought by the Sith!" He was about to lunge, but sensed another behind him. The activation of a lightsaber confirmed it. Without turning, for it would be unwise to do that during battle, he sensed Nightshiner.
Nightshiner stepped between them, and Sirius momentarily backed off, his saber held down, but still in a defensive position. He scoffed at Nightshiner. "You can try, Nightshiner, but I sense your meaning. Very well," He deactivated his lightsaber and placed it back to his side. "I will leave this matter to you, but be warned, you cannot play both sides." He stared back at Firestar. "Until we meet again, young Jedi." He placed his hood back on, and walked backwards until he disappeared into the alley.

Nightshiner watched as Sirius left, waiting until he was all the way out of the alley before switching off his lightsaber. He turned to Firestar. "Are you all right?" he asked her as she deactivated her lightsaber. "I'm fine," she said, though from the look in her eyes, she still hadn't quite gotten over her sudden fear. Nightshiner walked over to her and placed his hands on her shoulders. "You'll be fine, Eron," he told her, "Just watch who you get into a fight with. That man could have killed you." "Not if I had my big brother here to help me," she said with a smile. Nightshiner smiled back and hugged her. "Just be careful. I may not be close enough to come to your rescue next time."
