Firestar stared at her Jedi master for several minutes, not believing what she had heard.
"Mustafar?" she sputtered out. "You're sending me to Mustafar for a training mission?" Raincloud nodded once, solemnly.
"Yes, training in the Force and also survival." Firestar wasn't able to understand why Maste Starshine was sending her there. Mustafar was a volcanic planet in the outer rim, completely uninhabitable for long periods of time. Most of the place was off limits to everyone besides the workers.
"Why do I need survival training?" she demanded, for an instant forgetting respect.
"Because if you do not learn to survive in the most adverse conditions, you will not be able to reach your full potential in the Force," Raincloud explained patiently. "Now do not question my judgment on this any longer. Fufill your assignment, and I shall see you back here in a week." Firestar bowed stiffly and turned to leave. At least there were supposed to be a few others going with to the volcanic wasteland.
Inari watched as her young apprentice left, her heart aching to stop the girl. She and several other counsel members had seen a potential disaster waiting to happen there. But some of the older, wiser members of the counsel advised that Firestar should go. They believed that this may help her grow exponetially in the Force. Inari didn't voice her thought, but believed that there was another agenda behind that. There were rumors that Firestar had some sort of emotional connection to the Dark Rebellion, and they wanted to use whatever they could find to flush the dark side out of the galaxy.
She sighed, wishing they would listen to the teachings of their foremasters, that the Force has a delicate balance, and that there is in fact no such thing as the dark or light side of the Force. There was just the Force, and the darkness came from the weilders.
Inari slowly made her way to the counsel chambers, feeling the weight of the galaxy resting on her shoulders. She took her place in the room and faced the rest of the members.
"It is done," she said, her voice registering regret and sadness. "She is going."

Nightshiner sat in the cockpit of his fighter, staring limply at the viewscreen. He should have expected the order to come. He did, actually, and thought he had been prepared for it. But when it came, it shocked him more than he could say, and it took every bit of training he had learned to keep his face emotionless.
Nightshiner, I have a new mission for you, his master had said. He had been bored and hoping something good would be coming up soon.
I am eager to serve you, my master, he had said, enthusiasm almost tangible.
I have been informed that you have been soliciting with a Jedi named Firestar. I want you to do everything in your power to sway her to our cause. If she refuses to turn, you must destroy her before she learns too much about us.
Nightshiner slowly moved himself out of his dazed state and punched in the start up sequence for his fighter. His sister would not turn. Eron was totally devoted to her beliefs in the Jedi ways. So he located her through their Force connection, sensing she was on Coruscant, but about to leave for another place.
He had no choice. He would have to kill her.
