Kvotha laughed as she realized that Darius had been teasing the stranger closer and closer to the group. She smiled at Jeraldi. "I'm Kvotha Var," she introduced herself while turning the idea of going to Dxun around in her head.
On one hand, it could be dangerous, given that she didn't know these people at all. Glancing at Kali, Kvotha even considered the idea that the Iridonian could even be some sort of slaver. No, I'm not getting that type of feeling, she thought briefly. If she went, she risked trouble. If she didn't, she was giving up a chance for money and adventure.
She licked her lips at that last thought. It had been a while since she had embraced any type of adventure. Ever since she had fled her father, cursing him for making her a Jedi... It had been the first time she had truly let herself become angry.
She shook herself from the rocky path her thoughts were taking her. "I'd love to join your expedition," she said to Darius, burying her doubts.

Zane watched out of the corner of his eye at the group of people gathering. Sometimes being very humaniod payed. He didn't get the looks that these guys were getting, and he pretty much blended into the crowd. "This should be interesting" he thought.

The sun was soft on his skin as Darius absorbed the moment. Before, when he had first arrived on Onderon, he had felt helpless and alone, trying to find something that had been hidden for millenia without any aid. But now, there were several people around him, willing to help for their own reasons.
"I'm glad," he told Kvotha, inclining his head slightly in a sign of respect.
The change in the Force he had felt earlier was now standing before him. "Welcome," Darius said, turning to face him. "My name is Darius. I'm glad you've arrived. We're nearly complete, I believe." He looked up at the sun and closed his eyes. "I could use a drink, though. It's been a long day and I'm sure introductions would be good. Any suggestions for location?"

"It's nice to meet you Darius, I presume you'll fill us in later?" Jeraldi said as he smiled at the thought of having a drink. "Well, I haven't the slightest clue where to get a drink, but I'm all for it."

"Two, maybe three Force users.....interesting, wonder what this plan is..." Zane said to himself as he sipped his drink. It was a favorite tea of his, silver like his hair and the moon on his planet

"I'd be up for that," said Kali, tossing her black and gold hair. She wasn't sure at this point if Darius meant that he was thirsty, or if he meant going to a bar, although he hardly seemed the type to drink that type of drink. Neither was she. She kept this to herself, though, as she had her reasons that she'd rather not share at this time. It was better to see what things were as they came than to plan ahead. It was probably why people who planned ahead panicked so much. She gave everyone her version of a warm smile and hoped that her feline features didn't frighten her companions as much as they did the humans around them.
Suddenly, she felt someone's eyes on her. She shifted her eyes casually to see a silver haired man in the distance sipping a drink. To the casual eye, he seemed to just be watching people, but Kali was no casual eye; at the very least, her eyesight was much better and allowed her to see more. He was watching them, for what purpose, she could not yet tell.
She leaned in slightly to say in a low voice that she hoped Darius, and only Darius, could hear. "A silver-haired man has taken some interest in us." She gestured with her eyes in his general direction.

"A drink would be rather refreshing," Kvotha added, momentarily watching Kali toss her hair and noting her discomfort. "Details about this trip would also be welcomed. To be honest, I have no ties to this place and would be ready to leave whenever the group is. Also, I believe there is a bar just over there; near where that man with the silver hair is standing." She gestured to where Kali was looking.

Darius nodded to Kali's notice, but he didn't really care at that point. If the stranger introduced himself, or decided to interfere, then Darius would act. But as of then, the man was simply watching.
"Sounds good," Darius said to Kvotha. He looked around the group and saw a general consensus to go inside.
Casually, Darius turned, his horned head exposed, and headed towards the bar. He was thirsty, but he knew to stay away from alcohol; he'd settle for some water.
Inside, he chose a spot in the back where he could watch the front and everyone who entered; he didn't like leaving his back exposed. "So," he said, leaning back in his seat and ordering a glass of water. "Tell me about yourselves. I mean, if we're going to be working together, it'd be good to know each other." He took a sip of water and paused, looking at the others. "Also, I'd have you know that I'm not your 'boss', so to speak. I hired you, yes, and I'll make the ultimate decisions about where we look, when we leave, that kind of thing. But I'm not going to dictate how you do what you do. So, feel free to chime in anytime with any ideas or suggestions."

Kvotha followed Darius inside, glad to be out of the sun. As they passed the man with the silver hair she gave him a brief smile, suddenly realizing that he had been watching them. She was curious as to his intent. Maybe he didn't like that they weren't the most humanoid group? Kvotha was almost tempted to reach out and touch a piece of his clothing, to try to get some sort of read on his character, but held herself in check. There was nothing more rude than reading the memories of a person's belongings unasked.
She passed him by and entered the bar, seating herself beside Darius and nodded to the bartender, indicating that water would be fine for her as well. She took the glass carefully, keeping tight control of the Force. She really didn't want to access any unwanted memories from a bar glass.
Watching the others sit down, Kvotha nodded approvingly in response to what Darius was saying, keeping her mouth shut. There wasn't much to say about herself, and delving into how she had become a Jedi and why she wasn't doing something else with her life wasn't something she was ready to bring up. Not yet, anyway. She smiled at everyone encouragingly, making it obvious she didn't have anything to say. This group looks interesting, she thought.

Jeraldi casually followed the group inside the bar. "Finally out of the sun!" He exclaimed as they sat down. After listening to what Darius had to say Jeraldi spoke up, "I'll go first guess. My name is Jeraldi, just Jeraldi no prefix or suffix, no last name. That's just they way my family was." He chocked that last part out as he thought to himself. Was being the operative word. His faced saddened, remembering how his family was basically murdered by the dark council a long time ago. That was when he went rogue and decided to embrace neither the light nor the dark side of the force, but rather indulge himself in freelance work. Most people knew the story and he felt no need to bring it up in casual conversation. "I am here to do a job regardless of the consequences, that is what I'm paid for. The specifics mean nothing to me as long as there is a paycheck." He said as he waved to the waiter. "I'll have a glass of your finest wine please." He said with a smile as he winked at the rather attractive woman taking his order. He turned back to Darius as he continued speaking. "You called me because I get the job done, and that's exactly what I intend to do. The thought of a little adventure excites me!"

Kali casually walked beside Darius, taking a place at his side (she liked to be fully aware of her surroundings as well, and it helped to be around the only person in the group she somewhat trusted) while watching the silver-haired man with her peripheral vision. She, too, drank only water, although she did ask for an Almakian apple, one of her favorites that she'd first eaten when she'd done a job in Coruscant. They were her favorite fruit, and she was delighted when he produced one. She made sure to slip him some extra coin.
She did not speak, she just watched and listened to everyone there, analyzing them and everyone around them, acting natural, and hiding behind a warm smile. A bounty hunter was excellent at analyzing the situation and keeping his or her guard up while still appearing casual. It was a necessity of the job, and one that had served her well on many occasions. These people seemed all right, and it was great they had some independence. She made eye contact with Kvotha as Jeraldi spoke, and gave her a slight nod. She felt a kinship to her for some odd reason, perhaps because this girl had just been treated as Kali herself had been a while ago. There were few people who understood the true life of a slave.

Zane smirked as he heard one of the men speak. "So that's Jeraldi, I expected more." He pushed the ear piece into his ear a little further with the Force and listened in on some more converstaion from his bug. He had noticed the girl almost touch him, and being trained in the Jedi arts, he knew that any alien wasn't one to just casually touch someone by accident. The feline woman made him wonder about why she was there, and if she was in his book of known bounty hunters. The Darius character was the one that interested him the most though, as he was the leader.

Kvotha let slip a sigh of excitement as she listened to Jeraldi. She knew what he meant about adventure. Catching Kali nodding at her, she winked back. She would be glad for a new friendship.
After a moment, Kvotha realized that no one else was speaking. "Well, I guess that makes me next," she began, breaking the silence. "Like I've said already, my name is Kvotha Var. If you wish you may call me by my Jedi name, Cloudspinner, but I would not prefer it. I excel at repairing droids, because of my ability to access the memories of objects or the dead. It's a rare gift my Kiffar clan passed down to me." She finished this last bit with a smile, taking a sip of her water. She frowned as she felt a spike of power.
"Jeraldi, may I try a taste of your wine?" She asked distractedly. Who was using the Force nearby?

Darius felt a brief spike of energy nearby, likely the result of the Force. How many dang Force users are there in this city? he thought, sipping at his water. He listened to Kvotha and Jeraldi closely, but his eyes continued to scan about slowly.
"And you're both more than welcome," he said, feeling slightly awkward. He had brought the group together, so that made him somewhat of its leader, but he still disliked the position. He was used to governing only himself, not others. It would be an interesting lesson.
He sighed and made sure to meet everyone's gaze. "Might as well get this over with, too," he said. "It's not like it's going to be much of a shock for most of us; we've all been feeling it. Kvotha, Jeraldi, and myself are Force users. Kvotha, it has been noted, belongs, or belonged, to Cloud. I myself have never belonged to any faction, instead growing up alone on my home planet, learning what I can from holocrons my father would bring home or I could find on my own."
He took a sip of his water and set it down slowly, turning his attention to Jeraldi. "I don't know your history," he began, leaning back in his chair again. "And you don't need to share it. But I need to know right now, from both of you, if you'll be okay operating with each other and me. For this expedition, we must put aside the factitious attitudes associated with our abilities."
He turned then to Kali. "I'm sorry, but we may need to use your ship for the next day or so to supply before we can head to Dxun. By then, we'll have purchased, or uh borrowed, a ship that can take us."
He stood, finishing his glass of water. "Further introductions can wait. For now, all you need to know about me is this: I'm a Force wielding Iridonian, I'm going to Dxun, and I wont let someone stop me." He said this looking out the door, towards the silver haired man still standing outside. His jaw clenched and relaxed in rhythm with his fists. He hated being spied on.

Jeraldi sighed as he could tell Darius was distracted by another force user that seemed to be spying on them. "If this guy really wanted to spy, he would have made himself less revealing to us. I think he wants us to know he is here." Jeraldi thought to himself as he smiled and turned back to Darius. "No worries here man, I have no qualms with anyone anymore. I have no "real" enemies." He said as he turned to Kvotha. "Why sure you can have a taste. Heck maybe you'll want one of your one. This is the finest wine on this side of the galaxy."
