Zane smiled to himself as he got more information. "Three Force users, looks like my idea worked. Now, why on earth would he be going to Dxun?...." he thought to himself, distractedly taking another sip of his tea, smiling and nodding as the Irdonian walked past him in a huff. He jotted down Jedi-Cloudspinner, Jeraldi and Darius under the word FORCE and Kali under the word Unknown

Kali nodded, and turned to Darius, so one side of her face was hidden to everyone except him. "I will go with you, and no one will stop me either," she said, watching Darius's eyes and body language as he stared at the silver-haired man. "And I'd volunteer my ship for this mission itself if you'd like, although if you'd rather we borrow a ship, you've come to the right cat." She paused, a mischievous glint in her eyes, before she told him a personal concern she'd kept to herself all this time. "I just would like my ship to be safe while we're on Dxun, I've worked very hard on it, and I'd like to keep it for a while."
"If you'd like me to take care of that man, I will," Kali whispered out of the side of her mouth, while still appearing natural. "He's driving me nuts, although if it will compromise our mission, I will stay put."
She faced the rest of the group and smiled as she finished off her water before addressing all of them. "I hate to be blunt, though, but if there are any disagreements, please take care of them now, otherwise, it may be an uncomfortable couple of supply days." She had no issues working with Sith or Jedi, she just hated drama. It would be good to have a warming, too if there was. Kali, despite being a loner, was capable of being professional, and rarely had disagreements with others, save when they needed to be taught a lesson, or didn't pay her. It was difficult for her to understand it if people couldn't control their dislike, get past it, and be nice. They'd have to work with each other after all. Being a Force user just complicated things with all their various factions and alliances. Why did they have those again? It was so binding, what was wrong with being free?

"Thank you," Kvotha took a sip of Jeraldi's wine, wincing at the vulgar taste of alcohol. "It is pretty smooth." She admitted to him, giving him a real smile and handing back his drink.
She then turned to Darius."I doubt we'll have any trouble getting along. As you said, I belonged to Cloud. I'm not entirely sure where I stand with them at the moment... Either way, I usually avoid anger and arguments."
She gave them all a winning grin. "Well, Kali, would you like to show us this beautiful ship of yours?"

Kali stood, and made a motion to follow her. "It's not far." She led them to where her ship was. All of a sudden it appeared so small to her, with all of the people there. She'd have enough room for all of them, though.
As soon as they were in the privacy of the hanger, Kali turned to face them. "So, this is my ship," she said. "It doesn't look like much, but I've made a lot of modifications on it so it's versatile. You won't find another like it, that I'll guarantee. And the ride is smooth, and I just got a newest model of hyperdrive, so it's the fastest thing I've encountered yet." She paused for effect. "Oh, my name is Rajani Kali, by the way. I don't think I've said that much. You may have heard of me. I get around." She sent them all a lopsided smile and waited.

Darius followed Kali to the hanger where her ship sat. He was frustrated but anxious. Frustrated more at how long it would take them to actually get to Dxun than at the company. He was pretty happy with the people he had been able to find; they would prove fun and interesting company.
"So," Darius said, leaning against a wall and looking over at Kali's ship. He knew her words were true. It didn't look like much, but he knew the power and potential within it. "Since it's going to be pretty tight for the next few days, we should probably set up some routine to keep things moving. And the routine can carry over to the mission itself." He paused, scratching his chin; it was more for effect, since Iridonians can't grow hair. "I guess 'routine' isn't the right word. More of some things for us to do to keep from getting bored. Like sparring, games, exercises, and maybe even patrols."
Taking a breath, Darius pushed himself from the wall and stood beside Kali, looking at the others. "We'll need to get together individually, see who we're more comfortable on patrols with. Once the mission starts and we're really patrolling camp or scouting, we'll need to trust who we're with completely. Looking over our shoulders at every sound, just to make sure our partner is still there, would be a waste of energy and could put us all in danger." He shrugged. "Easiest way I can put it, I guess. Get used to each other." Once he stopped talking, Darius pulled out his comlink device and measured the time. "Dinner at 8?" he asked, looking around.
He really needed to get used to leading.

Kali nodded. "8 sounds great," she replied, softly. She liked routine, it helped her not focus on the little things. She was also very excited to use her set of talents. "We also might want to think about what type of ship we would like to...borrow. Let's just say it's one of my areas of expertise." She glanced at Darius. He was the only one she'd come to trust as of now, although she felt a kinship with Kvotha that definitely had potential. "I can also lead a team to go ahead maybe and scout out the area. There may be some unforeseen obstacles. I have little experience with Dxun, I'd like to know more about what we're dealing with. I'd hate to split us up, though." Kali tried to express her ideas clearly, but she, too, was not used to taking the lead. She wasn't the leader, yes, but she felt there were a few things that needed to be asked. "Although, Darius," she said, turning to him. "I think I'll let you plan. You know what we need, and stuff, so, yeah. I might be getting ahead of myself." She bit her lip, and fingered the long scar on her left forearm absentmindedly. She remembered the last time she'd jumped into something without proper knowledge...

Jeraldi sighed, taking a seat in a small area of the crowded ship. It certainly wasn't what he was used to, but he could get accustomed to it. "I for one have no problem working with any of you." He said looking around at everyone. "You all seem rather fun." He grinned as he said this last statement, a hint of excitement running across his face. "You all look like you know what you're doing, and I think we will be just fine." He had no worries about this mission, even though he didn't really have a clear idea of what it was. "Dinner at 8 eh? That gives me a little time to practice." He said sitting down in an Indian style position and closing his eyes.

Darius nodded. "Good," he said, taking a seat near Jeraldi. "I'll make a list of things we need, then I'll go to the market in the morning to purchase what we need." He paused, considering what they needed and what Kali could do in terms of finding a ship. "Kali, we need something small enough to land in heavily forested areas, or on clifftops, but sturdy enough to withstand fast flight and, hopefully not, laserfire."
He turned to Jeraldi. "Um . . . excuse me," he said softly, feeling foolish. "I've never really been trained in the Force, per se. I've learned what I know through holocrons I've found or been given. Some of it was really old techniques. Some extremely useful and powerful. But there are many I don't know, some common ones. I uh . . . I was wondering if you could help me?" He looked up at Kvotha standing nearby. "If both of you could help me."

Kvotha gave Darius a curious look. "Truly? From the feel of your power I had guessed you had phenomenal training, but never would I have imagined you were lacking training in common techniques." She glanced at Jeraldi briefly. "I cannot speak for Jeraldi, but I would be honored to help you." She gave Darius a big smile. "There's no reason to feel foolish for not knowing something you haven't had the chance to learn."

"Ah, so the big guy doesn't have any proper training, that may make things easier for me. Kali seems like she'll be a good second in command, and now, time to help out this little expedition." he thought to himself smiling. He knew what ship they were going to need, and just by happenstance, he had acquired it over a game of cards not a week before. Sometimes being able to use the Force was a great gambling aide. He slipped a piece of paper under the door with a hanger number and keycode to get into the hangar and walked off, whistling a merry tune. He would have to test them eventually though, and he grinned at the oppurtunity to use his lightsaber again.

Jeraldi opened one eye to look at Darius. "I could tell by the way you presented yourself that you had never been formerly trained." He said smiling as he turned to face to look at Darius'. "But that's what makes you dangerous. You don't know what your "really" capable of." Jeraldi said turning back to face the wall with his eyes closed. "No one can ever know what they are truly capable of....until the time comes when it's time to find out. You've got amazing skills already, I can tell, and if you really want to "tame" these skills as I'll put it, I'll be happy to help. But from experience with many people in my day, I'd say it's best not to know until it's time, and when it's time....trust me....you'll know. I've been there." He said thinking back to the day's when he and Firestar were the best of friends. They had been through many dangers together, and he had seen just how powerful not knowing can be.

Kvotha looked at Jeraldi in surprise. "You are much wiser than you seem," she said slowly, turning his words over in her mind. She turned to Darius and chose her words carefully. "He's right, it may be a better idea to let your powers learn themselves when the time comes. If we begin teaching you now, we may be restricting you with 'rules.' However, with an open mind, you may be able to compensate your lack of training for things we never before would have thought of trying." Kvotha bit her tongue hesitantly. "The choice, of course, is ultimately up to you."

Darius was silent as he listened to Jeraldi and Kvotha. They were right, in their own way. By training him, they would be restricting his ability to grow and develop his own techniques. If he was trained, how he would apply the Force would be regimented and predictable. But if he simply learned as he went, then he could truly become strong.
"Thank you for your words," he said after tossing the ideas around in his head. "Perhaps you are right." An idea popped into his mind. Standing, he left the ship and looked around for the right object.

Jeraldi laughed, coming out of his trance as Kvotha seemed to hint that she didn't believe he was very bright. She was right though, he didn't care for giving advice, he really didn't believe in advice most times, but in this case, it seemed necessary. He smiled as Darius pondered their words and suddenly left the ship, seeming to have an idea in mind. "Well, I think he's figured it out." Jeraldi said to himself as he closed his eyes again and faced the wall. This was his meditation state. It was a common practice among jedi, nor a rule of sorts. Jeraldi just enjoyed clearing his mind. He believed it made him stronger in will and in thought. He used the force to levitate his body so that he would have to train his mind to keep himself lifted, all the while still clearing his thoughts. Beads of sweat dropped from his forehead as he concentrated.

"Seems Jeraldi is smarter than he looks, which is probably a good thing for him." Zane said to himself. He needed to find more information on this mission, so he decided to follow Darius out of the hangar, but he kept an eye on him from the top of buildings
