Kvotha felt Darius place the square object in her hands and recognized it as a holocron. She grasped it carefully, a thankful smile playing on her lips.
"Thank you," she said gratefully. "This will help more than anything else could at the moment, I believe. I'll stay out of the way while you all prepare to leave. Just let me know when we are about to go. Hopefully by then I will have an understanding of Force Sight."
Turning her attention to the holocron, Kvotha let out a quiet sigh and began to listen.

Kali finished inspecting the ship. Yeah, she could fly this thing. She poked her head out the door at the others.
"So...are we heading out or are y'all just gonna stand there?" she asked, with a grin. Zane had picked a nice ship, and she was aching to fly it.

Darius rummaged about, collecting the last of their belongings from Kali's ship. Where'd all this stuff come from? he wondered listlessly as he carried sacks and a couple boxes to the new ship. Once everything was stored, he went back for Kvotha.
"You ready?" he asked. Darius wasn't sure what to do. Kvotha was blind, though still strong in the Force, and unless she managed to master the teachings of the holocron he had given her, she would be near defenseless. He silently prayed to whatever higher power there could be that she would find her way. "The other ship is packed up and ready and the supplies Jeraldi was getting are being stowed as we speak. We're the last ones to board." Reaching down, Darius put a gentle hand on Kvotha's shoulder and put on a smile, though, absently, he realized she couldn't see it.

Matthias crouched on the ground, his eyes closed yet seeing everything. He could feel the flow of the Force as he wound its way through Dxun. The others who were slowly gathering were just background noise to him, in comparison to the loud and beautiful call of the ancient history of the moon. The Dark Side was strong in places, weak in others; it was a beautiful and haunting feeling.
"Hurry," he said to the members of the Brotherhood, who were digging furiously to reveal the bunker door. "The intruders will be arriving by nightfall." Did he feel the least bit remorseful about what he was doing, using the Brotherhood, the men and women who had given him a home so many years ago, to reveal that which he sought? He thought about it, watching the ripples of power flow across the moon. Absolutely not, he thought with a slight grin, turning to watch the odd mixture that was the Brotherhood toil towards a task that, if they knew, they would try with as much determination to stop.

Kvotha, hearing Darius, looked towards his voice and smiled vacantly. "Yeah, I'm good to go," she said as she patted the holocron contentedly. Standing up shakily, she allowed him to guide her to the ship.

Once on the ship, Darius finally started to feel the nerves. He was jittery and nervous about what was going to happen. He could feel something dark and sinister on Dxun, and images from his dream kept returning to his mind.
"Alright," he said, leaning his head into the cockpit. "Let's get going in a few minutes, alright?"
Returning to the main hold, Darius greeted the others with a smile, wincing as the gesture was lost on Kvotha. A stab of guilt pushed its way into him. Shaking it off, he walked over to the holomap. "We're going to be touching down over here, on the far side of the moon. It should be turning to day a few hours after we land, so be prepared for a really long day."

Jeraldi sat in the nearest chair as the prepared for departure. He sat calmly as he cleared his mind. "We must make sure we are prepared for whatever we find there." He said as he fastened his safety harnesses. "I have a feeling it's going to get ugly, really ugly. Kali, we need to turn on the cloaking generator, it will hide our ship as well as our forces so the we can land undetected."

"Good idea," Darius said, nodding at Jeraldi. "Do it, Kali."
Darius wandered around the holomap, looking at the terrain rendered in beautiful 3D display. He looked closely at the valleys and mountains of the large moon, as well as the locations of bodies of water. He noted several close to their landing site that could provide them with enough water, should their own supply run dry. Satisfied with their landing site and the area around it, Darius walked back up to the cockpit.
"Alright," he said, looking out the window as the surface of the moon grew steadily closer. He could see the line between night and day ahead. Soon, they would be landing on the night side, and in a few hours it would be day. "Here's where we want to land. Plenty of room, but plenty of cover too. And there's a nice small lake nearby, with a river feeding into it. Once we touch down, turn all the systems but lighting off. We're gonna need to stay on the ship until we've got camp set up."
Turning away and leaving the cockpit, Darius walked to the cabin he had claimed as his own. It was of modest size, in terms of small space-faring vessels, but it was comfortable; it reminded him of his small study he had had back on Iridonia. He was tired, but sleep, he knew, would not come. So, he settled for sitting on his bed and meditating, focusing on the people and environment around him. He could feel Kvotha's steady breathing as she sat in the main hold studying the holocron. Jeraldi's calm, yet fluid personality seemed to swish and swirl in his mind, constantly flowing from one spot to another. Kali was an unmoving object in his mind; she sat still and focused at the controls of the ship, her eyes and mind on the task ahead.
Pulling back into himself, Darius focused on his own thoughts and emotions. He felt the guilt he knew was there from Kvotha's blindness, and the nervousness from the trip ahead. But he also noticed excitement and determination at the enormous task ahead. And yet, alongside those emotions rode fear, a dark and menacing figure that took the form of a large hooded man. Shivering, Darius focused more intently on the figure, on his image, on the fear it still seemed to inspire within him. What are you? he wondered. Fear is only an emotion; darkness an illusion,he thought, a motto his father had taught him years and years ago, when they had first discovered his Force talents. So, continuing to focus on the figure, Darius began to give him light, filling in the shadows of the cloak with soft sunlight, darkening his skin to healthy levels. Soon, Darius saw standing in his mind, not some creature of darkness, but simply a man absorbed in the Dark Side, but not consumed by it. The man's features were familiar, and his stark white hair, though short, reminded him of the man on Onderon, the man who had given them this ship. Echani, he thought, frowning. Then, suddenly, there were other hooded figures around the Echani man, and his skin turned into an armored Echani combat suit, and an Echani helmet covered his head as two matching lightsaber hilts appeared on his hips.
Darius let his mouth drop open as he understood what he was seeing. He had never experienced it before, but he knew what it was: he was seeing the hooded figure for who, and what, he was, and he knew that the man was on Dxun, somewhere. Suddenly, the Echani's helmeted face snapped towards Darius and with a flick of his arm, the Echani sent Darius tumbling against the wall of his room. Groaning, Darius opened his eyes and pushed himself up. His back hurt from slamming against the wall, and his head hurt from being so forcibly pushed back into his own body. How'd he even know I was there?
"Kali! Land this thing!" he shouted, rushing to his feet and sprinting towards the cockpit. "Final descent now," Kali hollered back. Within moments, the ship shuddered as it settled its weight upon the landing gear. "Alright," Darius said, walking quickly into the main hold. "We're here. First thing we need to do is secure the immediate area. Jeraldi and I can do that. Kali and Kvotha, would you please begin gathering up materials to make camp? What we don't have on the ship, we can likely gather from the forest around us; but I'd prefer not to if we can help it."
Turning, Darius opened the gangplank down to the forest floor. Shaking the suddenness of being thrown against his own wall from his mind, Darius walked down the ramp.
_____________
Matthias smiled. "They're here," he said to the Brotherhood around him. "Hurry up!"
Thinking back on the moments from before, when the young Zabrak had foolishly scried him, Matthias couldn't help but look forward to the events to come.

Jeraldi followed Darius down the ramp as they were to secure the surrounding area. Jeraldi could tell something was disturbing Darius as they descended. "You've seen him haven't you?" Jeraldi asked as they touched the ground. "There is something here, and I haven't yet been able to discern what it is, but it feels so familiar. We have to be on our guard. Tell me, what did you see? What did the face look like?"

Darius sighed, glancing at Jeraldi as they walked about, securing the area. He kept his Force senses wide open, letting in the area around them.
"He was . . . I don't know," Darius said, absently touching the hilt of his lightsaber. "At first, he was just a hooded figure. You know, the typical dark guy? But then his features started appearing, the shadows disappearing. It was strangely fascinating to watch." Darius looked about, noticing a small animal watching them; it quickly dashed into the bushes and hid, though he could still feel it through the Force. "The man had long, white hair, and strikingly similar features to the man from Onderon, who gave us the ship. They're different men, but still similar in appearance. But this man also wore a kind of armor, possibly Echani, and had matching lightsabers on his hips."
Darius continued to look about, letting himself focus on the world around him while he just listed the details of his vision. He mentioned the small things, like fact that there were others, and bigger things, like the feeling of the Dark Side that the Echani man radiated. He was filled with the Dark Side, permeated by it, and yet not consumed by its raw power. He shivered slightly, continuing to walk along, checking the area.

Jeraldi gasped as Darius characterized the man he had saw in his dream. Could it be? Could this be the man whose plans jeraldi was able to thwart so many years ago? Jeraldi realized he had known it in his mind, but had blocked himself from realizing it until now. "Why?" He asked himself as Darius looked around. "Why is HE here? What purpose does he have?" Jeraldi thought back to when Matthias had realized Jeraldi had tricked him. "Why did he spare me? Looks like this is going to get interesting." Jeraldi thought with fear in his eyes.

Darius looked over at Jeraldi and frowned. "What's wrong? Do you know him?" he asked. "I can't explain it, but he almost seemed desparate, as if he were trying to find something before others showed up, as if he were confined by some kind of timelimit. A mission, maybe? Some plan we fit into?"

Jeraldi sighed as he looked at Darius. "He doesn't do missions, he is his own master. There isn't anyone in the universe that I'm aware of that can stop him. He is the darkest of the dark, the most evil of all evil....and his name is Matthias." Jeraldi said as he turned his head for the shame of the fear he was showing. "I met him once, but I shan't go into details, just know that we have a fight ahead of us, one I don't think we can win."

Zane walked up behind the pair of men, "Ah, so I see you finally figured out who you're up against. Yes, it is Matthias Jeraldi, and WE do stand a chance of beating him." he said, putting a hand on his light saber and the other up, ready to call upon the Force if needed.

Jeraldi turned around abruptly with lightsaber in hand before realizing who it was. "You do a great job of hiding your force, "Z"." Jeraldi said putting his lightsaber back in his holster. "You're no ordinary force user are you? I can tell you have great power, unreadable power, but great nonetheless. I don't think it's dark, but I can quite tell. However, it seems we have the same goals here, so I say we make an accord." Jeraldi said sticking out his fist as was his custom. "What makes you think we can beat him? I can sense your strong, but not nearly strong enough. But, something tells me you're not alone. What ARE you?"

Zane looked at the mans hand and took it, tentatively. "Yea, I can beat him, don't always rely on you senses Jeraldi, but I, like the man we're here against, am an Echani. That's all that you need to know right now, friend." Zane said, looking up at Darius. "I believe that you were foolish enough not to trust me, and now your friend is in trouble?".
